During band camp, the director stands on scaffolding to get a better view of the band's formations. It earned the nickname of Chad's treehouse because our director's name was Chad and he looked very young.

One day I thought it'd be fun to make the treehouse a little more true to its name. That afternoon I steathily took some measurements, and that night at my house we built a modular structure that could be assembled around the scaffolding. We drove the pieces up to the school and hoisted them into place. It was one pramk that benefitted everyone involved, giving the directors some shade throughout the day.
